On track...
I will officially be the LCP of AIESEC Bern from April 1st on . I already had a part of transition with Marie (thanks for all your valuable tips, tricks and hints!), the new EB is planning recruitment and the first weeks of the summer semester and next Wednesday we're all travelling to WENA LDS in South Wales. Exciting times coming up! :-)
Since the elections I'm very motivated and ready to start working. I feel that the long awaited moment is coming nearer, soon I'll be responsible for the LC together with the EB. I'm looking forward to my term, to working with my team consisting of four great individuals (well, at least so far...;-)) and with the cool members we have, to bringing the LC further, to cooperating and contributing on a national level, to working with the MC - there are so many ideas crossing my mind right now, so many things I would like to accomplish, so many goals I would like to reach...and now is the moment where everything begins and we, the EB, have the chance to do something great, to bring our LC to a new level, to have an awesome year.
I'm reflecting a lot on the coming months, on my role in the LC and simply on AIESEC these days. I'm trying to acquire knowledge in all the departments in order to be prepared for my term. My goal is to do everything I can, to give more than 100%, to try out new concepts, strategies - simply to have the best experience possible.
It's up to me what I do with the chance that was given to me when I was elected as LCP. And I'm sooo ready - even to the extend that I'm neglecting my studies. As long as I like what I'm doing I don't care...for too long I've been the serious role model student.
It's very motivating to be with people who are as passionate as I am, my EB VPs, but also yesterday evening at the MCP election. It was cool to meet some of the newly elected EB VPs and LCPs, the people I will be working on a national level, people I will see at conferences, people who are in the same situation as I am, who have the same goal. Is there anything cooler than that? I don't think so. Somehow I'm almost scared of the energy I'm feeling right now, where will it lead me? Will there be people who share my ideas, give support and will I be able to live up to my own expections? I'm curious about finding the answers in the coming months...
